Hello!

Video Editor | Institute for Creation Research

Day to Day

I am a passionate Video Editor at The Institute for Creation Research, where I've had the privilege of working since June 2023. Throughout my time here, I have gained extensive experience editing a diverse range of projects, from podcast episodes to dynamic, animation-driven video series that demand both creativity and precision.

As I've taken on increasing responsibilities, including project management for a key initiative, I've honed my leadership skills and developed a deeper understanding of how to guide teams toward success. I take pride in managing timelines, ensuring projects are completed with excellence, and consistently working toward the end goal.

Above all, I thrive in collaborative environments, finding joy in contributing to team success and celebrating accomplishments together. My commitment to quality, strong work ethic, and positive attitude are at the core of everything I do.

Featured Work

Lead Video
Producer Experience

I was selected as the lead video producer for the 5-day Parks Across America Hot Springs trip. During this experience, I learned valuable skills in filming on location, adapting quickly to unexpected challenges, and capturing shots on the go. I faced some technical challenges that pushed me to problem-solve on the fly, ultimately helping me grow and become more confident in my abilities as a videographer. Throughout the trip, I filmed the scientists during their Creation On Location talks at national and state parks during the day, and their formal presentations at night, helping them communicate complex ideas in an accessible way. Overall, it was an incredibly rewarding experience that has enhanced both my technical and creative skills. My videos from the trip will be released soon!

Recognition for Creative Initiative

I had the opportunity to edit the President’s annual Christmas Address video, a project where I took the initiative to elevate the visual storytelling. I captured b-roll of our company’s original Christmas cards, carefully arranging them in a Christmas tree and using slow-motion shots to create a polished, cinematic look. After watching the final video, the President praised my work during our all-staff devotion, noting how professional and impactful the shots were and how seamlessly they fit into the message. It was incredibly rewarding to see my creativity recognized in such a meaningful way.

Delivering Results
Beyond Expectations

After just seven months at ICR, I was honored that my boss recognized my potential and entrusted me with directing the Media and Marketing Christmas Address. I carefully planned the entire filming schedule, ensuring we stayed on task and even finished ahead of schedule over the course of two full shoot days. Time management and organization were key throughout the process, both during the shoot and in post-production, where I developed a detailed editing timeline to ensure every element was completed on time.

After the project was complete, my boss shared that he had never seen anything executed so smoothly on the team before, which was incredibly humbling to hear. This success was truly a collaborative effort, and I’m grateful to have worked alongside such a talented team to bring this meaningful project to life.

Made In His Image Seminar 2025

Join us LIVE on January 18, 2025, to celebrate the sanctity of human life during ICR's annual Made in His Image Seminar at the ICR Discovery Center. https://www.youtube.com/live/9Yv4m9FYy2I?si=9XEQXl8j6MvoL4b6 What determines the value of human life? How do we measure its worth, and what steps can we take to protect and cherish it? These profound questions are at the heart of ongoing debates in today’s culture, where ideas about the meaning and value of life are often challenged. To find true and lasting answers, we must look to the Creator of life, the ultimate source of purpose and design, for a correct understanding of what it means to be human and why life is sacred. ICR president Dr. Randy Guliuzza will delve into the extraordinary design behind human life, highlighting the intricate complexity and purpose that reflect the work of an intelligent Creator. His insights will offer a fresh perspective on why human life is not only unique but also precious beyond measure. Additionally, Mr. Jay Seegert, founder of The Starting Point Project, will equip attendees with practical tools to defend the value of life in a culture often at odds with its sacredness. His dynamic presentation will empower individuals to confidently articulate the reasons why every human life is worth protecting and honoring. This seminar will be an enlightening experience, combining science, faith, and apologetics to deepen our appreciation for the Creator's handiwork and strengthen our ability to advocate for the sanctity of life in our communities and beyond. Join us for this inspiring event and take part in celebrating the wonder and value of human life.
